La storia del Gruppo CDS non è la tipica storia di un’azienda di trasporto. E’ la storia di tante aziende. Fatta da tanti uomini. Tanti professionisti del settore che hanno voluto e saputo creare un progetto davvero comune, un “sistema”, una “rete” di piccole e medie imprese, con una profonda conoscenza del loro territorio, in grado di offrire servizi flessibili, di alta qualità a prezzi contenuti. Un’eccellenza nel servizio collettamistico, una realtà in grado di competere con le grandi aziende logistiche internazionali.
CDS, una storia ricca di fatti e di poche date da ricordare: la società nasce come srl nel 2004. Anche se in realtà, una “rete” di 12 aziende che avevano deciso di collaborare, scambiandosi le merci da distribuire nelle proprie zone di competenza, operava già dal 1° giugno del 1992 presso l’hub di Bologna. La svolta nella crescita del Gruppo arriva nel febbraio del 2008 quando i soci fondatori decidono di aprire il gruppo a nuove aziende affiliate, dando vita ad un nuovo e più grande Sistema CDS. Un’intuizione felice che ha portato la “rete” nella giusta direzione. In questi ultimi anni, il Gruppo CDS si è arricchito di nuove aziende qualificate e oggi copre l’intero territorio nazionale e si prepara ad abbracciare anche l’intera Europa, accogliendo sempre più affiliati di altri Paesi europei.
